Section 508 Training

Ramifications of Non-Compliance

When an agency has not complied with Section 508 in procuring EIT, it exposes itself to several risks. Complaints may be lodged against an agency by individuals, including:

• An employee of the agency who is hindered from performing their job efficiently
• A job candidate who can't complete the application and hiring process without difficulty
• A member of the public who can't fully participate in an agency activity or program
